The Global eCommerce Awards’ categories straddle multiple industry sectors as we understand that each has different requirements for success, guidelines and regulations and objectives and outcomes. The team awards will differentiate between small, medium and large businesses and between in-house and agency.

WEBSITE AWARDS

The Website Awards recognise and reward exceptional websites across multiple business sectors, as listed below. Judges understand the nuances between sectors, including differing regulations and objectives which is why believe each sector must be judged against the direct competition.

Judges will be looking at objectives, budget, innovation and creativity, user experience, functionality and conversion/engagement. It is important that you demonstrate your outstanding results and include an evaluation that recognises the challenges faced and why your work outshines the competition.

Global Fashion / Apparel or Footwear eCommerce Website of the Year

Open for all retailing relating to fashion and clothing, this award recognises and rewards an exceptional fashion, clothing or shoes retail website.

Global Food & Drink eCommerce Website of the Year

This award recognises and rewards an exceptional food or drink sector website. It is open to food and drink suppliers, including restaurants and bars who have diversified to an online market i.e home cooking kits, virtual gin tastings etc.

Global Financial Services eCommerce Website of the Year

This award is open to Financial institutions selling financial services. Judges recognise the specific rules and regulations associated with this category.

Global Insurance Services eCommerce Website of the Year

This award is open to Insurance companies selling insurance services. Judges recognise the specific rules and regulations associated with this category.

Global Music / DVD / Games eCommerce Website of the Year

This award is open for electronic retailing including computers, tablets and games consoles or subscription-based music services.

Global Electrical Appliances / Electronics eCommerce Website of the Year

Open to white goods and other electronics. This award recognises and rewards an exceptional eCommerce website retailing electronics.

Global Beauty, Health & Well Being eCommerce Website of the Year

This award recognises and rewards an exceptional eCommerce website retailing beauty products, medicines or pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements or treatments.

Global DIY, Home, Furniture & Interior Design eCommerce Website of the Year

This award is open to retailers in DIY, furniture, Interior, homeward, soft furnishing and garden décor/equipment.

Global Sports, Leisure, Toys eCommerce Website of the Year

This award is open to websites retailing sports equipment, leisure products, leisure services including ticket sales, and toys.

Global Travel & Tourism eCommerce Website of the Year

This award is open to business that sell holidays, flights, cruises and short breaks and also includes tourist attractions and leisure experiences.

Global Telecommunications eCommerce Website of the Year

This award recognises and rewards an exceptional telecommunications eCommerce website that sells mobile devices and internet connectivity services.

Global Broadcast eCommerce Website of the Year

This award recognises and rewards an exceptionalbroadcast eCommerce website, including subscription based music, film, TV and radio services.

Global B2B eCommerce Website of the Year

This award recognises and rewards an exceptional eCommerce website retailing direct to businesses.

Global B2C eCommerce Website of the Year

This award recognises and rewards an exceptional eCommerce website retailing direct to the consumer.

Global eCommerce Startup Website of the Year

This award recognises and rewards an exceptional eCommerce company less than 18 months old.

Global eCommerce Website of the Year

This Award recognises and rewards outstanding success. Judges will compare websites across multiple business sectors to crown an overall winner.

INNOVATION / SOFTWARE / EXTENSION AWARDS

These awards recognise and reward the outstanding technology behind the face of the website. Just as important as the ascetics!
Judges will consider objectives, budget and impact. It is important in these categories to demonstrate why you think your work has been game changing and why you deserve to win.

Global Payment Solutions Technology Awards

An award to recognise and reward outstanding payment solution technology.

Global eCommerce Innovation Award

This award celebrates and rewards an innovative tool, product or service that has changed eCommerce for the better or delivered outstanding results. The judges will be looking at for new features / tools added in the last twelve months.

Global eCommerce Software or Extension of the Year

This award celebrates and rewards an innovative tool, product or service that has changed eCommerce for the better or delivered outstanding results. The judges will be looking at for new features / tools added in the last twelve months.

CAMPAIGN / INITIATIVE AWARDS

The Campaign / Initiative Awards recognise and reward all aspects of an eCommerce Campaign / Initiative, especially enhanced visibility and brand awareness. Judges will consider budget, initial objectives, target audience and strategy, creativity and implementation and outcomes. It is important your results are evaluated by you and your team as judges want to understand the process, challenges and triumphs.

Global eCommerce Search Campaign of the Year

This award celebrates and rewards a PPC or SEO Search Campaign that has successfully enhanced the visibility of an eCommerce Business. The judges will be looking at the campaign’s objectives, strategy, creativity, implementation and the results it created.

Global eCommerce Social Campaign of the Year

This award celebrates and rewards a Social Media campaign that has successfully enhanced the visibility of a eCommerce Business. The judges will be looking at the campaign’s objectives, strategy, creativity, implementation and the results it created.

Global Customer Service Initiative of the Year

This award celebrates and rewards a customer service initiative that has successfully enhanced the visibility of a eCommerce Business, and improved customer retention rates and satisfaction.

Global App of the Year

Judges will be looking for great design, excellent user interface, creativity and originality for the Global App of the Year. This category covers any sector or vertical.

AGENCY / TEAM / INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

These awards are about the people who are transforming eCommerce with their talents – creative, innovative, practical and technological.
Judges will consider how your team works together including the various roles and individual developments and growth. It is important that you demonstrate examples of recent work including objectives and results and recognise challenges that have been faces and how they were overcome.

Global eCommerce Small Agency of the Year

An award to recognise and reward the world's best small eCommerce agency with under 10 employees.

Global eCommerce Medium Agency of the Year

An award to recognise and reward the world's best small eCommerce agency with 10 - 25 employees.

Global eCommerce Large Agency of the Year

An award to recognise and reward the world's best large eCommerce agency with 26+ employees.

Global Customer Service Team of the Year

An award to recognise and reward the world's best customer service team in the eCommerce sector.

Global eCommerce In-House Team of the Year

Recognition of an outstanding in-house team that demonstrates consistently great results and innovation on an ecommerce website for their brand.

COVID RESPONSE AWARD

In a difficult year business has faced unprecedented challenges due to Covid-19. Judges will consider the challenges your business faced, what aspects of your response were ground-breaking, what outcomes you expected, what success you had and what lessons you learnt and what you can adopt moving into a post Covid-19 world.

Global COVID-19 Outstanding Response Award

In a year like no other, where every business had to adapt to a changed environment, this is an award to recognise and reward an exceptional eCommerce response to the Covid-19 crisis.
